Ascension Seton Hays receives “A” grade for safety from Leapfrog Group

The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit organization, completes a biannual evaluation of hospital safety records in order to assign a grade to each hospital. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades are based on a number of factors, including infection control, staffing levels, doctor and nurse communications, staff responsiveness, and discharge information.

For the Fall 2023 Leapfrog ratings Ascension Seton Hays received an “A,” a score Ascension Seton Hays has maintained for five consecutive years. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program based exclusively on hospital prevention of medical errors and harms to patients.
